9 dozen cookies

We have an annul cookie day I started here with my husbands family. It’s a tradition my southern family has been doing for years, and it was always so much fun that I wanted to have a little part of my family here.

I baked 9 dozen cookies this year and I still didn’t get in my bell and reindeer cookie cutters.

I needed one more batch of dough, maybe next year.

You can never have enough sprinkles. You need a good variety, so I say.

We also made a trip to see the VanDusen Gardens to see the Festival of Lights , something just our little family makes a trip together to do. It’s so much fun. My big guys loves it, and the little guy loved it too, he googled and giggled at the lights. Pointing at them all with sheer delight.

We had kettle corn, and hot chocolate, sang songs, we saw Santa. If you live in the area, I highly recommend going, it’s full of Christmas cheer.

My sons favorite is the Gingerbread Woods, I like the Dancing lights because they danced to a Nutcracker medley.

These flowers were so pretty, and you wondered how a water bottle could be pretty.!

Merry Christmas Eve!!
