A double helping of Thanks for me

I have the joy of celebrating two Thanksgivings. The first happens Oct 12, it’s the Canadian Thanksgiving. It was SOOOOOOO hard for me, at first, Thanksgiving before Halloween Weird!!

Then to fight the urge to put up the Christmas Tree, and start shopping and preparing.

I am use to it now, and as far as I have experienced, the Canadian Thanksgiving isn’t a big deal like it is in the States.

I also celebrate the US Thanksgiving, because it is such a nice tradition, and it keeps me feeling more connected to my family even though they are so far away.
This year, I am going to attempt to make these.

I don’t know a person out there who hasn’t heard of Bakerella by now, especially her cake pops, you can see them attempted all around the blog world. She is a baking genius who is kind enough to share.

I am no baker by any means, although I do have this one cookie recipe down, always a winner, but its a family secret recipe, so my Aunt tells me. So along with my cookies, I may attempt some of these for my sons birthday party.

If you aren’t up for baking, the try Lyndsay’s sweet goodness. Just beware, when you order Coco Cake Cupcakes, her creations are almost too pretty to eat…if they didnt taste so good.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!!!
