the rice babies

I just finished a project I started , ummm, three years ago. Ekkks
I had bought some patterns a while back and my oldest and I were starting them for my second, and now I am on baby 4!!!

They are my very first Wee Wonderfuls patterns. We call them Brownie and Shell-don. The new baby will be a spring baby so I thought they were very fitting.

I had started the Turtle first, when I look at him, I see how far my hand work has come. I almost want to take him apart and start again, but they are already quite loved now that they are complete. In fact, I have been told that we need to add two more, so says the oldest, one for each kid.

So nesting has started with about 8 weeks to go. I am working on a few projects and really into baking. I hoped this would end after Christmas but maybe it’s part of my nesting too. This weekend we are trying out cinnamon rolls, last weeks honey wheat bread was a good try. Notice I said try.
