Back to School

School hasn’t been in a full week and already I have been asked to bake and sew and we had our meet the teacher meeting. Hew…

I can’t believe I have a first grader!!!

We usually celebrate back to school with family, but this summer was so busy we didn’t have time.
We did celebrate on our own.

How do you think pirates eat? We ate straight off the table, no forks!
The crab was scooped up, and the fish and chips didn’t come from my favorite place , but were tasty non the less.

My oldest version of a “scelly” , short for skeleton.

The above picture cracks me up because his pirate face is helped by the fact that he just bit that lemon he is holding.

Here comes fall

They are all so cute! I love the idea of eating off the table…might have to borrow that idea soon.

What a fun way to celebrate back to school!

My daughter is a first grader too. Some days I like it and some days it makes me a little sad that my youngest is already in grade school.

that looks so good. That is one of the many things I miss from living in the Bay Area — crab season. We would totally have "crab fest" at our house regularly with dipping sauces and crunchy baguettes…
