Bubble Tea Birthday

I hope you had a lovely weekend. I did, it was quite busy but lots of fun.

I worked all day Saturday, and Sunday the older one and I went to a birthday party.
I was requested to be the guest artists for the party. The birthday girl, a former student, and was turning 6.

I had been throwing a few ideas around…cakes, a cupcake, something in Marie Antoinette pallet. I however used what I had been inspired by all weekend. All around town the cherry blossoms are loosing there leaves, when the wind blows, it looks like pink snow.

So, for the birthday party art time, we made Sakura.

I mixed several shades of pink, brown, and we added some tissue paper for texture.

The party was small but they had lots of fun.

The guests also got to make their own bubble tea, my son loved this part.

The birthday girls parents
just happen to own the best Bubble Tea House in town.

(the softest most tasty pearls ever…for those that have never had bubble tea, they are tapioca balls)

My guy made strawberry, and was very proud to tell Dad when he got home and share some with the little one.

I hope your weekend was just just as lovely and tasty as ours.

So cute – I would take all those pieces and hang them. What a great idea and bubble tea sounds delish. Never tried it and now will have to find a place that makes it.
