Hawaiian eats and treats

Such good things to be had in Hawaii. I am sure you will wonder where the pineapple is, and we did have some and it was super yum but we enjoyed other things too.

Like snow cones……

and snow cones……

and more snow cones. The North Shore snow cones are the best. The snow cones on Waikiki beach are NOT the best. The ones we bought on the beach , the ice was harder and the flavors were more watery, We became Snow cone connoisseurs.

I had some pretty good bubble tea, although nothing beats my favorite. I did enjoy and miss

Island Vintage Coffeesoooooooo good.

I finally made my way to find some Poke. Being a Southern girl, I am not a raw meat eater by nature. Although living here has salmon sashimi on my plate now, so Poke was not too far off. So , so super yum. A MUST in Hawaii.

There is a really great Koren BBQ place, and Garlic Shrimp eats, but those are the more mom and pop places and the names escape me.

Fun shop I like:

88 Tees

Alter Ego

and My VERY favorite

Happy Haleiwa
