Meet my newest interest

I have been learning how to screen print. So much fun!!!! I would like to make my own fabric.
I chose my Red Riding hood to be my first set. I think she is a cute girl.
I thought my first run would be a disaster, but I was pretty happy with the results. I got two yards of fabric and it took some time, (and rulers) to get the borders lined up. They aren’t perfect yet, but still, I am super happy with the results. You know it’s really hard to find bordered fabric.

Once I get it cut up, I will be offering some, perhaps more freebies.

Speaking of freebies, I have a giveaway here.

Lastly, that’s an unfinished doll face, I thought you might like to see how I hand stitch my faces. I finally found a hoop small enough to fit the new size I have been working on.
Happy day!!
Kellie

I am loving those Little Red Riding Hoods – will you list them on Etsy shop? I'd like to use them on some dresses!

I've only tried screen printing a few times – what do you make your stencils from?

For my images, I used an Illustrator file printed on transparency paper, then burned on a screen. I highly recomend it. So much fun to make.
