Must have been good this year

I must have been a good girl this year because I got many wonderful gifts and had a beautiful Christmas with my family.

My husband brought these home Christmas Eve morning. Very sweet, we all enjoyed one before lunch.

Looks like Cupcakes and I have the same taste in sprinkles.

At dinner it was just us 4, so nice and intimate, I made ham, candied yams, salad and garlic mashed potatoes.

Out center piece was the little Christmas house my son made.

Christmas morning included our traditional gingerbread man pancakes and presents.

I wanted to capture some photos Polaroid style for my kids, I have a few I have kept from my childhood, and I wanted them to have the same.

A few wonderful gifts I received.

These came from a Christmas package exchange with Thuy.

Can you see the dolls this vintage fabric will become? I can and Thuy will too. It’s the kinda gift that gives back.

I am loving this scarf I received from my sister in law.

I had many more I love to add but that would be quite a post.

Here are a few gifts I made.

My first eye spy quilt. I totally just made it up and found it a bit harder than I thought. Next time I should follow a tutorial or book.

It was for my niece, and her mom said she loved it. So that’s all that matters.

This apron I made for my sister in law.

I made these dragon gloves and scarf for my nephew in Texas.

These are what the gloves look like in action, I had my little chubs model for me.

More gloves for the little friends.

And a Christmas apron.

I made a doll, and a few more things but it was hard to keep track. I didn’t get through as many as I wanted, I aways make a big list for myself. If I get it done, great and if not, I’m ok with letting it go. (there is always next year).

What a gorgeous day it sounds. I love your gingerbread man pancakes 😀

The gifts you've made are so inspiring and some ideas to be jotted down for my handmade Christmas next year 😉 The dinosaur gloves are so cute! Can'yt wait to see what dolls emerge from that fabric 🙂
