My Vintage Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday, and it was great. I spent time with my little, but growing family. My son was enjoying my new gift as much as I was, I realized he caught the whole day.

So, my birthday… photographed by this guy

Breakfast Church
Vintage hunting, or as Amanda Soule might say, thrifting. I have always wanted one of these, but it’s just not practical for my lifestyle or where I live. So pretty.

In the car, heading to more shops

Sushi for lunch

I decided that treating my family is a one of the best presents, so Dad got ice cream, and the kids got to get candy for being so good.

It was the little guys first time, he was SO well behaved, he only took a simple cherry lollipop.

The pictures below were taken by me, my good finds. I have a few more but I didn’t want to picture them as they will be given as gifts soon. As for how much I spent, well, lets just say it was about equal to the candy store and icecream purchase. Really good finds.

It was such a simple day, yet one of the best birthdays I have in a long time.

The Love Vintage Exchange closes on the 16th.

I am so excited to see the swap begin and what vintage treasures will be swapped. I have seen some new blogs and some people who’s work I truly admire.

All week I will have vintage inspired postings, just to get us all ready for the Exchange.

It does sound like a really lovely day! I think your little boy has an eye for photos. My 3 year old is obsessed with taking photos at the moment too.
