I keep old crayons. I keep crayons that they give you in restaurants, the ones they give you and toss away, not the ones they keep in cups and jars for reuses. I have been collecting for some time and over the summer we started our crayon makings. So when my son wanted a lego birthday, I knew the perfect giveaway.

I bought my lego mold here.

Some of my crayons were old and hard to peel so I took a pairing knife to them, this saved lots of time.

To make:

old,broken, unloved crayons peeled

bake at 350 degrees for 15 min

freeze for 30 min

And wallah …you have recylced crayon ready for some lego love

Our goodie bag had crayons, lego candy blocks and lego lollipops

that is awesome, we did this with muffin tins, but I'm going to have to explore and see what other molds I can find!
