Spring Seeds

It’s spring, yay!!!

My oldest started asking me last week, if he could plant some seeds. I thought he had great timing, and I have no idea where he came up with the thought, because it wasn’t something we had been discussing. I love that son of mine, he is such a good influence on his little brother.

We bought a watering pail and used some seeds we had for a while. I hope seeds don’t expire.

We live in the city, so we don’t have a backyard so to speak. ( We live by the ocean , so no complaints )

We use our patio for our garden area. It needed a good cleaning first.

This is what I can grow. LOTS of mint.

And some of this, which I have no idea what it is, but certainly not what I planted. I am just happy it’s alive. he he

This is the other part of my graveyard, errr, garden. I’m not one with the green thumb, although I would really like to be.

It was great fun for my little loves. I hope we grow something from the seeds, I will keep an update for you.

(and yes, if you are thinking about wanting to pinch or eat those chubby cheeks on my little guy, its totally natural, I think the same thing daily)

We also made some cookies, but I will save that for another time.

Oh, and I’d appreciate you not telling the other plants I am looking for new replacements for my pots, plants tend to run and hide when they see me.

What are your Spring plans?

Kellie

A couple of years ago my daughter wanted to grow a watermelon. I am not a green thumb but seeing how much fun you and your boys had…might have to give that melon a try.

I'm just like you – I only have a tiny yard but live right by the sea… so can't complain *g* I also have not much luck with growing things though managed some tomatoes last year that were yummy and I haven't yet killed that brick cactuses (cacti?) that Craigs Mum gave me… probably because I don't have to touch them…. they just exist!

Gorgeous piccies, don't you just want to huggle and shmoodge those gorgeous little boys right up 😀
