The traveling poppets

I was able to attend The Celebration of Lights. It was amazing, we walked to the beach, laid out a nice picnic blankets, removed our shoes and curled up with a big bag of kettle corn.

I was told by the oldest son that kettle corn is must, you cant see the fire works with out it.

The fire works are set to music and every year different countries compete. This year it was Spain, Mexico, Chin and the USA. I have to say the heart shaped fire works were sweet, but nothing beats the big pom pom ones in the finale.

Can’t wait to see what you have been up to.

Great shots! The fair is in town and I wanted to take the girls to see the fireworks but they don't start each night until 10 p.m. which is past our bedtime let alone the girls.

Fireworks are always fun! Also, I have to say, my whole family loves kettle corn! Whenever we are at a festival and see that big giant copper kettle and the man or woman stirring the popcorn with that big giant wooden paddle…oh my..who can resist! not me!
