Today’s amazing book comes from Suzzy Lee.
Other than the most amazing illustrations, this book is also wordless. Which is why you can love it all the more.

I read the book to my children and let them tell me what the story is about. It’s so much fun , they express a lot of feelings the girl in the book may be having. This book is great for those who live by the sea and a great way to share the sea with those who don’t.

This book is among my treasured book favorites.

For a great art project based off the book, use a simple piece of water color paper, talk about waves and what they sound like, and how they move. Then add a little blue water colors to create your waves. Next step, take a charcoal pencil and draw in shells, sea birds and other findings. For older children, they could draw themselves into the portrait.

This makes for a beautiful piece of art and a very rememberable book.

I may have mentioned before, my love for children's books. When my kids were younger, I would check out SO many books from the library and read, read, read to them! It was awesome!
