We love Easter

We have been having some Easter fun around here.

I love Easter, I have the best memories celebrating Easter. My mom always made it very special for us. We always woke up to a basket filled with goodies. ( At 21, I had to assure my mom a basket wasn’t necessary). We always had a new Easter outfit (remember jelly shoes with ruffle socks?) and after Church, we would have an egg hunt.

I try to make Easter just as special for my children.

This Easter we have been making paper mache eggs. So simple to make and you can reuse them every year. We are making some as gifts.

These are for my oldest Pre- K Easter party along with homemade mini hot dogs, which I guessed would be better than something sugary.

I love peeps (confession,I don’t eat them but I love the look of them, so I buy them for the little loves), so when I saw this tutorial here, I knew I would give a go.
I will share our bunting soon along with some other Easter fun.

Hope your Easter plans are going well.

Kellie

These peeps are so cute! I'm not a big fan of eating them but there's just something about them you can't resist. Happy Easter!

Oh goodness…jelly shoes and ruffled socks! Memories. I am so behind this year, but plan to continue on traditions as well. My mum always made us an Easter bunny cake, and so I've been making one every year for the kids, which they love. Here's to easter traditions!
